Recycling information

Did you know that Entrinki has an official Ekokympi hazardous materials collection point. You can bring fluorescent tubes, paints, batteries, oils and various solvents (expired medicines should be returned to the pharmacy). Entrinki is also an official collection point for electrical and electronic devices. You can bring all household appliances and entertainment electronics that are no longer in use to us!

We accept clean, usable furniture at the recycling center: sofas, tables, chairs, beds, cabinets from both private individuals and agencies. If necessary, we make minor repairs to the furniture before selling it – like gluing joints or tightening screws.

The recycling center accepts all electrical and electronic devices from private individuals and companies. The recycling center has reuse agreements with producer associations. The electrical devices sold are inspected, tested to be functional and include a right of exchange/warranty. Spare parts for household appliances are also available! Computer hard drives have been emptied with the ZeroData program.

The recycling center also accepts various building materials such as interior and exterior doors, windows, coating materials such as tiles, wallpapers and other construction-related materials. At the building supplies store in Raksarinki, building materials are easily findable and reasonably priced. The recycling center also offers usable sinks, sink tops, bathtubs and toilet seats. You can also find these products in Raksarinki.

We accept approximately 50 tons of clothing in Entringi annually. About a third of this amount of clothing ends up in our store for reuse, the rest goes to Ekokympi for further processing. Our store offers a wide selection of decent everyday clothing at affordable prices for children, women and men. Accessories such as bags and scarves and other home textiles from curtains to carpets can also be found in Entringi's selection. Shoes brought to the recycling center should be sorted carefully at home, as shoes easily mold to the shape of their wearer's feet and are therefore no longer reusable.

Many pots and cups are quickly finding their way to new homes! Recycling center has an inexhaustible selection of plates, glasses, cups, pans, pots and other kitchen utensils, not to mention the glass jars needed for preserving.

The Entrinki recycling center offers a wide selection of different books. The books are sorted on its shelves by subject and alphabetically. And the price of a book is not too high - for 60 cents you might find a book you've been looking for. Every month, about 1,000 books find a new owner.

You can find refurbished bicycles at the recycling center. There are bikes for cyclists of all sizes, with or without gears. Remember that the selection is at its best in early spring! Sports equipment can also be found at Entrinki. The selection includes, among others, cross-country and downhill skis, skates, boots, studded shoes, clubs and balls.

The recycling center has collected and sold everything suitable for people who do crafts. Fabrics, zippers, buttons, threads, etc. You might even find a flowing beaded dress or a costume for a party.

Problems with transportation? Ask our transportation service! If necessary, we will help with both home deliveries and pickups. The transportation fee is €30 in the urban area (from 1.9.2024).

What wouldn't you find in recycling? It's hard to find such stuff! There are many kinds of toys and games for children of different ages, as well as decorative items, candlesticks, paintings, trophies, flower pots and many other nice things. In addition, the goods are replenished throughout the day - in the afternoon you may already have what you were looking for in the morning!
